1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains our stance on refunds for purchases made through carreportcheck.co.uk (the “Site”). By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Digital and instant delivery

Car Report Check provides instant digital vehicle reports. Each report is custom-generated using third-party data sources immediately after payment is confirmed. Because delivery begins instantly and involves irreversible data access, all sales are final and non-refundable once a report has been generated.

3. No right of cancellation

Under UK consumer law, the right to cancel or request a refund for digital content does not apply once the download or access has begun with the customer’s consent. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate report generation and acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel.

4. Errors and technical issues

In rare cases, if a report fails to generate or is not delivered due to a verified technical fault on our system, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial refund. Any refund amount will be reduced to account for unavoidable costs, including third-party API fees and applicable taxes. Full refunds are not provided under any circumstances once a report has been generated.

Requests for partial refunds must be submitted via support@carreportcheck.co.uk within 7 days of purchase.

5. Incorrect information

No refunds will be provided if the customer enters an incorrect or invalid vehicle registration number (VRM), email address, or other details during checkout. The responsibility for providing accurate information rests solely with the customer.

6. Duplicate or accidental purchases

Because reports are generated instantly and linked to specific vehicle details, duplicate or accidental orders are not eligible for automatic refunds. Any such cases will be reviewed individually, and a refund may be issued only at our absolute discretion.

  • Full name and email address used at checkout
  • Vehicle registration number (VRM)
  • Transaction or payment reference
  • Brief description of the issue

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Any resolution will be at our sole discretion.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
